That loss is inevitable
It’s part of the life cycle
Of letting things go

That friends don’t last forever
They follow their own path
Where they need to go

Blessings come with loss
It creates space
For new things to grow

I am not defined by loss
Or by others leaving
It’s only me that I can know

Our body changes with time
And a grieving process
We need to go through

This is natures design
Nothing is permanent
We all have to flow

Loss is not the enemy
The grief of our loss
Is something we all know

Loss is part of me
But once I’ve processed it
I need to let go
